Chris Pratt and Robert Brownwife Katherine Schwarzenegger have sparked a friendly debate online on if and when to keep childhood trophies.

In an Instagram post on Tuesday, the couple revisited Schwarzenegger's memorabilia, including "fourth grade problem solving superstar" and other trophies saved by her parents, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver.

"Maria has been storing special items from Katherine’s childhood for years. Which is so very thoughtful," the "Guardians of the Galaxy" actor, 44, captioned the post, featuring photos of Schwarzenegger beaming. "To see my darling wife beaming with sentiment as she opens these crates of meticulously organized keepsakes, remembering her cherished youth, makes me grateful for the efforts her folks put into archiving."

"There’s also a trophy for 'most improved two year old' in swim class. Wow!! Sorry to the other two year olds," he continued. "What’s that you say? She was the only two year old in swim class? I’m proud nonetheless."

Schwarzenegger, 33, commented on the post: "Feels like someone is a litttlllee bit jealous of my natural athleticism from birth and ability to solve problems."

The stroll down memory lane seemed to get Pratt thinking about his own kids.

"Real talk… once your kid goes through the stuff, is it okay to toss? I mean… do we need the 'I was on a sports team trophy?' Can they be donated? Repurposed? How many do we gotta keep?" he continued. "Is there a grading scale? Like, did you win? Were you a champion? Is there a specific sentimental connection? Help me out here."

Pratt shares two children with the author: 3-year-old Lyla Maria and 1-year-old Eloise Christina.

He also shares son Jack, 11, with ex-wife Anna Faris.

Instagram users chimed in to give their take, including one user who wrote: "I donated all my old trophies to an organization that removes the labels and repurposes them for fun awards. My local YoungLife chapter."

Another commented: "Maria must be doing the ‘you’re an adult now with your own house, so here’s your stuff’ drop off. My mom just did this too … have no idea what to do with it but happy to have it??!"

"Give them out as prizes when your friends come over for game night," another commenter joked.
